Whenever we build a MVP for our clients we list their product to these 10 platforms only instead of 100+: 1. Product Hunt 2. Indie Hackers 3. Hacker News - Show HN 4. Reddit – relevant subreddits like r/SideProject, r/SaaS, r/indiehackers 5. Uneed 6. BetaList 7. OpenHunts 8. SaaSHub 9. Peerlist 10. Dev Hunt

You don’t need to become a better coder. You need to become a better builder. AI already writes the code. But it can’t: - Choose the right idea - Understand users - Sell the product Coding is no longer the bottleneck. Thinking is.

I can always tell why someone is really on X by looking at their last 10 posts. Who's here for: > followers > monetization > distribution & marketing > connections & networking > public journalling What are your goals on X?

Most indie hackers fail because they build too few products. I built 35+ products in 5 years. Sold 5. The ones that worked? I couldn't have predicted them. ReplyGuy started as a weekend experiment. Sold it for more than my annual salary in Ukraine. Replymer hit $10k in 30 days. It was product #32 or something. The first 15 products made $0. "Focus on one thing" is advice from people who got lucky on their first try. The rest of us need volume.

@VivienMahe Cold outreach is probably the easiest one for me, because once you have a good message you automate everything and just wait for the replies :D

I've been avoiding the one marketing channel that actually works 😨 I realized I only tackled the "easy" channels: posting on X, Reddit, and SEO. It's time to face the uncomfortable yet rewarding ones. Starting with cold outreach. I'm terrified of it, but most founder who made it started exactly here. Time to get out of my comfort zone!
