Google 这个研究挺有意思的，把废旧手机回收，拆除不必要的组件，只保留计算单元，刷 Linux 系统，然后用 Kubernetes 把几十上百台旧手机组成一个算力集群来使用，可以继续发挥余热，给一些算力要求和稳定性要求不太高的场景使用。
不过现在差不多是 25~50 台组起来能有些用

这篇文章值得一看：Apple 正在用 Swift 重写操作系统里那些古老的但又不能丢掉的、用 C 实现的东西，这次是 TrueType hinting interpreter。
出发点是 Memory-safe，但是也取得了性能上的提升。真是一个好消息！
期待 macOS、iOS 的 Swift 代码超过 O/OC/C++ 的那一天，甚至在 XNU 中看到 Swift。

If you had to wire a house for networking from scratch what are you picking and why?
Cat6a - Technically "proper spec" for things like 10 gig, slightly more expensive and harder to work with cause thicker gauge/shielding/spine
Cat5a - CAN do 10 gig even if not "proper" spec, slightly cheaper easier to work with

Not one counterargument was made, but you leaned into personal attacks, and you even ignored the part of the article where I was showing a 4GB device many years ago. I laugh at the 8GB Neo not because it has 8GB but because it can't have 16GB as even an option. That is hilarious. Your post earns an F. Come back when you can dispute a single thing I said.

macOS Golden Gate also automatically uninstalls Rosetta 2 if you had it installed in macOS 26 Tahoe and still using Rosetta Apps, you will have to install it Again.
