@f0biaxd @OnlyFinsVal if we had full/4/5 national rosters like OnlyFins, Who Cars and HSDIRR then maybe we'd be one step closer to having LANs consistently in Northern Europe

LANs are difficult to organize in EMEA for a multitude of different reasons First reason is visa-related, as Turkish and MENA teams have very long visa processes which in turn forces things like Ascension EMEA Play-Ins and Groups to be played online Secondly, globalization has made LAN events 10x more expensive for TOs to run as TOs are the ones who need to cover all the travel expenses, accommodation and stuff for the players. Back in the day when we had full national rosters, it made this way easier for TOs as you could just send for example Swedish players with the train to Stockholm and some may even already live nearby Having to pay 10 different prices for plane tickets + hotel + food + venue + broadcast equipment + have an entire production team also on-site for an event that is done in 2-3 weeks time and forgotten about in 4-6 months is a massive expense which often does not yield any form of return unless you're a tier 1 event which gets watched by hundreds of thousands of viewers. Thirdly, teams expect the highest quality during LANs so we have to pay for high-end PCs and monitors cause otherwise we get complaints about lag and such Wish things were simpler :/
