Saw my book ‘Castles, Crime & Cake’ for sale in a gift shop today & commented to the woman working there that it would be nice if my book’s cover was facing out, rather than just the spine. “That’s what all the authors say” she replied dismissively. “Well I bet Gerald of Wales doesn’t say that,” I countered, “...he’s been dead for over 800 years!”
