@VishuLIV My start was pretty rough, but unique though. Fell prey to a bunch of scammers posing to be from the Mumbai Cybercrime, and they wanted my id and bank details. Fortunately, didn't lose any money and recognized that it was a scam :)

In January 2023, I started working on a new venture. After a year, we are at $3,371.78 per month. It's a SaaS business model where people pay a monthly subscription to use the app. We have 314 paying users. They pay between $2.50 and $45 per month. The first two months didn't have any paying users, but in March 2023, we gained traction. However, it's important to note that the business is not yet profitable. We have fixed monthly expenses of $4,189. I expect to break even in Q1 2024, but it will take another 12-18 months to recoup my investment, as I've been covering all the expenses from day one. My goals for this business in 2024: - 500 paying users in the first half of the year. - 1,000 paying users by December 2024. It's still in the testing phase, so I'm not ready to share what the app is yet. I'm sharing this so you can see that there's no such thing as overnight success. It took me a year of working on this business to get to this point, and we are STILL not profitable. It takes time, and you have to be patient for anything to work. Start this year by working hard on your goals, and remember you need to believe in the process and give it time. Recently, I started writing on Medium. At the same time as I began writing my newsletter (link in bio). After my company was acquired, I discovered that writing and sharing my experiences has a calming and relaxing effect on me. Knowing that some of you can find value in what I have to say also lights me up. If I can make your journey just 1% easier, I'm happy with that. So far, I have made $144.09 writing on Medium! Yeah, it's not much, but I want to cover some of my expenses. I am paying $5 per month for a Medium subscription, so annually it's $60. I am also paying $10 for an X subscription, so it's $120 annually. In total, that's $180. $180-$144.09 = $35.91 $35.91 is how much I have to earn to reach that threshold (probably in January 2024). Then I will know that I have those two platform subscriptions "free" for the whole next year. If I've made additional expenses on one side, I have to make additional profit on the other side. That way, I am trying to increase my quality of life without worrying about spending my savings. I like both platforms a lot, and I'm meeting awesome folks like you on X and Medium - warriors who are fighting for their future.
