Gaza is at a stage now where retrieving bodies from under the rubble is a luxury. Burying them is a luxury. Finding a body fully intact is a luxury. A few hours sleep is a luxury. Finding water, even if contaminated, is a luxury. We have failed them. We have failed them.

my niece’s birthday was today. she was excited about it since the beginning of the year. she wanted to celebrate it at her kindergarten. she wanted a lazytown cake, and a stephanie pink wig and costume. we couldn’t do anything for her :(
