Quick poll for all software makers & vibe coders: What’s the #1 thing stopping you from adding payments to your app right now? 🫣 Fear of messing up the backend code 💼 Dealing with taxes & compliance 🎭 Chargebacks & refunds drama 📈 Figuring out pricing & plans 👽 Something else (reply) Be honest 😇 and drop your emoji. We’ll reply with the simplest fix most software makers are using in 2026. Let’s remove the fear together. 💪

"Merchant of Record" sounds boring... until some random tax authority you’ve never heard of comes knocking. We answer. You don’t.

Start small. Charge someone. That first $10 teaches you more than another month of building in silence.

Which model are you using right now? Or which one are you thinking of trying?

Most founders price first… then try to figure out what people actually get. 🤔 That’s backwards. 🙃 Before you create a single plan or price, you need to know exactly what changes when someone pays. It could be whole-app access, specific features, usage limits, credits, paid workflows, or team seats. Everything downstream (your tiers, billing logic, support tickets, even your marketing) depends on this decision. If you’re unsure where to begin: Start with one free plan + one paid plan + one clear paid feature. Then (and only then) enable checkout. 🛒 Here are the 6 payment models with real examples 🧵

AI is definitely changing the game 🚀 The ones who will thrive aren't the ones fighting it. They're the ones using AI to move faster on the repetitive stuff so they can focus on solving real user problems, shipping quality code, and building sustainable businesses. Manual coding isn't going away, but working with AI is quickly becoming the new baseline. Exciting (and slightly scary) times for makers.

I feel like a lot of devs had a bad impression of AI in 2024, and are convinced they won't be replaced and it's still worth it to code manually Well, I've got bad news for you 🤷🏻‍♂️

Congrats on the $13K exit! 🎉 Solid move on the React UI component library - $7K lifetime revenue and now a new owner who sees the potential. These kinds of dev tools keep the indie ecosystem healthy. We see (and quietly support) a lot of similar software and component products making their way through the market at Freemius. Always inspiring. 💫

✅ Startup Acquisition #118 on @trust_mrr ✅ UI component library for React sold for $13,000. It made $7K in lifetime deals and $0 in the last 30 days. Congrats @ariflogs 👏

Supposed to get my first @freemius payout today after years of storing it….payouts are on the 10th but there’s nothing in my PayPal. Does it take a bit? A little worried tbh

Who are you rooting for in the World Cup? 🇦🇷 🇪🇸 Our dev team just picked sides, and things are getting spicy!🌶️ @drory82 (CTO) → Argentina 🩵 @omukiguy (WordPress Wizard) → Spain ❤️💛 @vienlhanz26 (Dev Support Lead) → Argentina 🩵 2 Argentinians vs 1 Spaniard… the office is divided! Drop your country in the replies 👇 or tell us who you’re cheering for. May the best team win (but we all know who’s bringing the trophy home 😉)

Nobody brags about their setup checklist. Until a five-star review shows up because of it.

Your SaaS can reach customers anywhere in the world. But can you actually get paid by them? If your checkout only takes cards, you're leaving money on the table. Currency, local payment methods, authorization rates, and tax. Going global has more layers than most founders expect. This guide breaks it all down so you can sell worldwide without building your own payments infrastructure.

Your users don’t care how hard it was to build. They care how easy it is to buy and use.

Liran Blumenberg watched his ex (a cosmetician) spend hours every week manually posting to Facebook groups to attract clients. He saw the same struggle with friends promoting their apps. Everyone was wasting too much time on tools that weren't built for real group posting. So he decided to fix it. Liran (@Klyra360372) built Multigroup Poster so you can post directly to the Facebook groups you’ve joined (not just your own page). Now you can create your entire weekly posting plan in just a few clicks instead of spending hours doing it manually. From Israel, Liran is a bootstrapped solo founder who handles development, marketing, and operations all by himself. He’s also a vibe coder, building the product using Claude Code as his AI engineering team. Today, Multigroup Poster is saving makers hours every week and helping them reach their audiences more effectively. Check it out: multiplegroupposter.com

June was all about removing friction. 🌎 We added PLN, CAD, AUD, and ILS so buyers can pay in currencies that feel native. ✉️ Trial cancellation emails are now fully customizable. 💬 Stronger RTL support + faster language switching. 🔑 More control over license activations directly from the dashboard. Small updates. Big difference for global makers. 💪 What’s one thing you’d love to see improved next?
