@NerkinPixel I really like this resolution for pixel art games, but my issue is that it doesn’t scale nicely to 720p (which is what Switch is when handheld). Have you looked at/played the game in 720p at all? Maybe it’s fine and I’m overthinking it. Gorgeous art by the way!

This was one of the first mockups I made for the game. This is an essential task for an art director during the pitch and pre-production stages. At the time, I was creating the visual style of the game and testing the new native resolution (480x270 pixels).

Using a combination of glitches in Super Mario World, Yoshi can be taken into the final battle, where he can eat Peach upon Bowser's defeat. With Peach gone, the ending will not play, and Mario and Yoshi will simply stare at each other forever.

@Gemker589589 There’s plenty more interactivity in the rest of the game :) This screen is about 20 seconds into the game, so it’s pretty basic at this stage
