Yes, it’s fascinating to research this stuff to understand symbolism, what the occult is, how it overlaps with our history and why the elite class are very into it. However, there are very few universities that could teach such a subject in a sensible, logical and reasonable manner. This is a shitlib course for mentally vulnerable individuals that think it’s just like being at Hogwarts. It is likely that the course would actually teach students to get involved in witchcraft and occultism, including spells, incantations and an attempt at ‘magic’ - to which, as a Christian, I view as incredibly dangerous territory. I understand many would disagree on the last part due to our secularised understanding of these subjects.
