@Soul_StormOP I agree on many points, but not on Brogy not surviving because he got stabbed, a stab wound can easily be non-fatal if it misses vital organs, same as gunshots which go through

OPLA S2 EP5 . Besides the focus Usopp got, this episode was horrible. Nothing made sense, the fights were finished horribly, and the changes just made everything worse . The justification for Broggy surviving doesn’t make sense as the sword stabbed him more than halfway through as opposed to the manga where it was a slash. Atp it being dull would actually do more damage than it being sharp but whatever Ms. Goldenweek can speedblitz her paint symbols onto the main characters but suddenly loses that ability later on which is just pure plot convenience. Another case of mischaracterization too they made her into a child psychopath when she never was one to begin with Zoro wanting to cut his feet off to free himself should have been given way more emphasis it was a huge moment of conviction and led to him having permanent scars. It was just brushed off in the LA. They also removed Dorry from the conflict killing any opportunity he had for characterization with Zoro Usopp’s plan to free the gang from wax was so contrived like you actually have to have negative IQ to not realize what he was doing. You could say Ms. Valentine was ragebaited but Mr. 5 was watching the whole time. Mr. 3 vs Luffy wasn’t anything to write home about in the manga but at least it gave Luffy a really cool moment and one of the first instances of Observation Haki in the series. In LA however there was none of that, just making Luffy look dumb and pathetic until the plot called for Mr. 3’s defeat. How did Mr. 3 even break Luffy’s shackles with his noodle wax sword when he said his wax is as tough as steel? He is not strong enough to generate enough force to break something that dense 😭 In general the cinematography, directing, and effects took a nosedive this episode too not sure what happened Don’t even get me started on Sanji…
