@srsattern Smith makes a ton of sense considering how close the family is, but Glock would be awesome. And just a side not on the family as a whole, I’ve only heard good things about them being the nicest people, cleaning up and helping out at comps.

@WeaponOutfitter I’ve been to that Guarder shop. By the time I went, that whole mall was airsoft on one floor, scale modeling on another. The Guarder shop was like my Mecca. It was amazing with the glass display cases of rare airsoft guns.

When I was a teenager in Taipei in the 90s my favorite airsoft shop was in an abandonned mall. A local high school hip hop dance club rented a little spot, had a whole floor to themselves. Guarder International had its own floor too

@AnthonyCumia I literally have a 92F for this exact reason. I never shoot it, but I have to have it because it’s John McClane’s gun. I say do it. You Italians make a nice gun.

Does anyone have a gun they don’t shoot but just wanted to have? I want a Beretta 92F for no other reason than in was John McClane’s gun in “Die Hard”. It’s a perty pistol. Should I, “pull the trigger” as they say?

The Opster is bitching that @itseriknagel is holding back Opie and Anthony archives from him yet Opie has been posting and monetizing decades of Opie and Anthony material without even a hint that he would share the proceeds with anyone else involved with the show. Every single video on his channel that has gotten more than even the most modest number of views have been Opie and Anthony show videos clips. Technically, he’s not even legally allowed to make money off of what amounts to CBS radio and SiriusXM’s intellectual property. I never have. Jimmy never has. We’ve moved on. I’ve never seen a thin dime from Opie using Opie and Anthony archives on his various social media accounts. Neither has Jimmy or Erock or Travis or Sam or anyone else associated with the show. So why on earth would anyone be eager to give him even more of other people’s talent and hard work to capitalize off of without regard to the other people who contributed to that material? In many cases, contributing more than he ever did. If anyone thinks this is just blindly trashing someone, you’re missing the point. There’s a reason no one wants to associate with this guy. This is one of those reasons.

Two critical things regarding the sniper team: 1.) People are saying they are not Secret Service because they wear police makings. That is totally incorrect. Secret Service uniformed and counter-sniper (CS) teams wear police titles. 2.) We do not know the rules of engagement or what the chain of approval to engage a target was that day and why. Everything from general confusion to communications failing can play a part in a massive failure like this, see 9/11 for reference. Also, this would be engaging a target with deadly force outside of the security cordon. Life and death choice with massive ramifications. It's not just some free-fire zone. A lot of frustration is being placed on the CS team/teams. But we have a very small amount of information as to what they were dealing with at the time of the shooting. Yes it seems beyond comprehension how a roof-line on the only nearby buildings in a relatively open flat area were not secured or at least watched very closely. How did so many people see this guy up there and even a cop supposedly ventured up there to look but the event was allowed to proceed? Once again, we don't know. Communications failure? Planning failure? Individual performance failure? Systemic bureaucratic failure? All the above? It's usually a mix of factors that lead to catastrophe. This is unlikely to be different, but we have such little info at this time, prematurely blaming the CS team is malpractice.
