Arsenal currently have a build-up issue, and it largely stems from Zubimendi not being able to consistently beat the press in the first phase or progress the ball effectively. As a result, Rice is being forced to drop deeper to compensate, and overworked. The ripple effect of this is slower ball progression, reduced central penetration and a potential Rice injury due to accumulated fatigue. Zubimendi was signed to fix this exact problem, yet at the moment, he seems to be contributing to it. Arsenal need to enter the market again for a technical, press resistant, buildup specialist, progressive passer 6.

@FootballEra_ Badly missing Partey...so press resistant and calm in build up. Him and Rice are a better combo than Zubimendi and Rice. It's really the physicality that Zubimendi struggles against and Partey managed way better.
