Approaching anything from a morally charged emotional point of view is the fastest way to fall into a self fulfilling defeatist spiral. Negotiations happen only among enemies. It’s not a “wedding you’re blocking your ex from”. It’s a non-violent end to violent conflicts. The debate is not from a moral standpoint it’s from a strategic one. Will the government let go of land? Will the government give up certain rights to self defense? Will the government be able to implement said treaty? What about Palestinians? What about offshore oil? None of us know. But we should demand these from the government. But the moralist standpoint is just fed by years of hate and propaganda and it allows your enemy to use your own stance against you as they’ve done a million times with us emotional Arabs.

Being a creative is such a blessing, and I don’t mean creativity, I mean to create rather than consume. Every hobby of mine takes abt 6h+ to complete, every consumption habit is a labour of love & I genuinely believe it’s why I have no problem boycotting or forsaking commodities.

الأمن السيبراني ليس ضربة واحدة… بل هو رحلة طويلة من جمع المعلومات (Reconnaissance) تمتد لسنوات. ما يحدث اليوم في لبنان ليس مفاجئًا، بل نتيجة تراكمات. عندما تكون بيانات الدولة مبعثرة بين وزارات مخترقة، وأنظمة قديمة، وقرارات مبنية على الواسطة لا الكفاءة، فأنت فعليًا تبني قاعدة بيانات مجانية لأي جهة خارجية. نحن لا نتحدث فقط عن اختراق نظام هنا أو هناك… بل عن ربط قواعد بيانات كاملة: من وزارة العمل، إلى الكهرباء، إلى الاتصالات، إلى سجلات الناخبين، إلى المطار، إلى الصحة… وصولًا إلى بيانات الأفراد: أسماؤهم، أرقامهم، عناوينهم، وأنماط حياتهم. هذا هو الخطر الحقيقي: Data Correlation عندما يتم ربط كل هذه البيانات، تتحول الدولة إلى “كتاب مفتوح”. العدو لا يبدأ بالهجوم… بل يبدأ بالفهم. ومع امتلاك تقنيات متقدمة من أقمار صناعية، درونز، وذكاء اصطناعي، تصبح هذه البيانات وقودًا لعمليات دقيقة جدًا. لكن السؤال الأهم: هل المشكلة فقط في قدراتهم؟ أم في ضعفنا نحن؟ غياب استراتيجية حقيقية للتحول الرقمي، ضعف تطبيق الأمن السيبراني، والفساد في التوظيف بدل الكفاءة… كلها ليست تفاصيل… بل هي السبب. ما نراه اليوم هو ثمن سنوات من الإهمال. والأخطر… أن القادم قد يكون أعقد.

شو موقف الرئيس بري؟ هذا أكثر سؤال يطرح بالمباشر وعلى وسائل التواصل، عند كل حادث أو حدث، وبعد كل تصريح أو موقف ولو كان لعابر في أروقة السياسة أو متسكّع على أبواب سفارة! الغالبية تسأل لأنّ #نبيه_بري بوصلة أمان بالنسبة إليهم، والبعض يسأل من باب الغمز واللّمز للتّشكيك والاتهام. كلا الطرفين لا يفقه أصول السياسة المبدأية المبنية على ثوابت وطنية متأصّلة ميثاق إيماني كتبه الإمام #موسى_الصدر قبل أكثر من خمسين عاما. نبيه بري ليس محلّلًا سياسيًّا، بل صانع قرار من بيروت إلى طهران وما بينهما، وفيما ينشغل هواة السياسة بتقليب المواقف حيث تميل رياح القوة، يثبت نبيه بري على قناعاته ومبادئه الّتي أرساها في السلم والحرب والقوة والضعف. نبيه بري هو الموقف الوطني المقاوم في صمته يوم يلزم الصمت وفي صوته يوم يجب الكلام، ومن الحكمة الصمت في زمن الضجيج المزعج!

When your community is targeted every opinion that doesn’t echo your pain is an insult. One man’s “logical argument” is another’s rage bait. That being said, a lot of the accounts on here that you expect to be a bit more level headed have gone emotional. It is what it is

The entire Hariri camp (Rafic, Saad, Fouad) is by far the worst government that Lebanon knew. It’s responsible even more than Hizbolla caused sanctions in decimating the Lebanese economy. - It was relying on Lebanon as a resort which ended all manufacturing and agriculture - quadrupled the public debt to privatize half the capital to their own company. - Their cronies were feral in taking over the government tax income and any international fund squeezed for Lebanon in a glorified form of welfare state. - The vision was prostitutional at best. Assuming political stances to whoever brings the most cash. - Owing favors to a Syrian regime that bled out the country financially and strategically didn’t help. It only emboldened their please for more funds “look at how poor we are” ليك ملا صباط approach. And drove the Hizbolla problem deeper because it brought them more funds and kept Syria happy. All the other governments failures are dwarved by the Goliath crime that camp did to the country. That does not however excuse governments like Mikati and his corruption, pipe ambitions, inability to take decisions and the multitudes of crises we saw during his multiple tenures. Or the neutered Hassan Diab that was brought in as a pre collapse puppet and asked to shut up and take notes. In comparison. This government in what it inherits and how it’s formed does not hold a candle to the others. And the decision of how good/bad it is is all tied up to how they handle the negotiations and what they’re able to do effectively not as slogans.

Probably the worst government to exist, which has taken every action to set the country back from judicial to financial decisions but surely Nawaf will make this one fateful decision right.
