@OluwatobiOtun The AI won’t remain the same, as it’s always being improved. At the end it all comes down to how good someone is with their prompts.

You want to know what’s funny??? For those that understand design, all the AI designs shown recently, look the same. Just like the yellowish grain on the previous update. Soon it will just be the same style of design and then brands will be seeking strategic thinkers to help them stand out. AI can’t do that on its own, it will need a designer who thinks strategically.

🚨 In 2019, Manchester City tabled a £30M bid to sign 16-year old Pedri from Las Palmas, with Pep Guardiola viewing him as a perfect fit for his system. 🔍 The Spaniard rejected the move just weeks later, opting to join Barça for just £5M — fulfilling a lifelong family dream, with deep-rooted ties to the club. 🔵🔴 Fast forward to now, and Barça are demanding £1 billion for Pedri after City made fresh enquiries over a potential summer deal. 💰 (Source: Mundo Deportivo)

🚨 CRITICAL: Active supply chain attack on axios -- one of npm's most depended-on packages. The latest axios@1.14.1 now pulls in plain-crypto-js@4.2.1, a package that did not exist before today. This is a live compromise. This is textbook supply chain installer malware. axios has 100M+ weekly downloads. Every npm install pulling the latest version is potentially compromised right now. Socket AI analysis confirms this is malware. plain-crypto-js is an obfuscated dropper/loader that: • Deobfuscates embedded payloads and operational strings at runtime • Dynamically loads fs, os, and execSync to evade static analysis • Executes decoded shell commands • Stages and copies payload files into OS temp and Windows ProgramData directories • Deletes and renames artifacts post-execution to destroy forensic evidence If you use axios, pin your version immediately and audit your lockfiles. Do not upgrade.

unpopular opinion: 16GB is plenty if software engineers actually cared about memory efficiency. chrome eating 4GB for 12 tabs is not a hardware problem its a software disgrace. docker consuming 2GB idle is not a feature its laziness. we live in an era where people optimize every single token to save $0.001 on API costs but happily ship electron apps that eat 500MB to display a todo list. if the industry treated RAM the way we treat inference compute - obsessively measuring every byte - 16GB would feel luxurious. the hardware isnt the problem, the software is @adxtyahq

never buy a 16GB RAM laptop in 2026. you’ll regret it within a week

Google could have kept this algorithm private instead of open sourcing it. But they allowed everyone, including competitors, to benefit from their research. That is why I respect Google. If you did not know, this entire AI era became possible because Google openly published their transformer model research paper.

I don't want to believe he was arrested by Nigerian authorities for criticizing Israel. The DSS needs to come clear on why they arrested him or if they arrested him at all. The fella is an idiot, but if people are now being arrested in Nigeria for criticising genocidal Israel in their own country, then anyone celebrating it has no idea what the implications are. You just have no idea what this means.
𝐸𝓃𝑔𝓇 кнαℓι∂@KHALYD16

It is no longer a secret that, Sani Waspapping, has been abducted by the DSS. From what we have gathered so far, on Friday evening around NEPA Roundabout in kaduna, @Waspapping_ was picked up alongside a friend who was later released. The arrest is allegedly linked to a post he made on X regarding the US and Israel. At the time, we deliberately chose to exercise restraint because some individuals came forward claiming they were “handling it” and assured us they were mediating behind the scenes to secure his release “everything is under control”. We gave them the benefit of the doubt. But it is now Tuesday, and Sani’s whereabouts remain unknown. We have also received information that he has been moved to an undisclosed location. At this point, it is becoming increasingly clear that some people are more interested in protecting their own positions and keeping their noses clean than actually doing what was necessary. Let me be honest: People in power can burn anyone if it helps them remain close to power. I know a lot of you might not agree with what Sani was doing and rightly so, I don’t either. Desperate times… Enough of the pretence. We are therefore calling on everyone who genuinely believes in justice and due process to step forward. Do what you must on your end, and we will do what we must on ours, because this situation is clearly getting out of hand. We call on the DSS and all relevant authorities to immediately release Sani Waspapping. If there are allegations against him, he must be formally charged and taken before a court of law without delay. Due process is not optional; it is a constitutional obligation. A team of lawyers is already being assembled to formally engage the DSS and other relevant authorities in order to establish the legal basis for his detention and demand accountability. Nigeria is a sovereign nation governed by law. Our institutions must operate within the framework of the Constitution, not in a manner that suggests arbitrary detention, external pressure, or disregard for fundamental rights. The silence, the secrecy, and the games being played around this matter must stop.

My state, Kano, should consider investing and establishing modern meat storage and processing facilities. Such infrastructure would create the opportunity to properly process and preserve meat, enabling the state to transport clean, well-processed products to different parts of the country and even to international markets. It would also reduce the need to transport live animals from the North to the South. Beyond creating employment opportunities and strengthening the economy, that would further consolidate Kano’s position as a major hub for livestock and meat trade in Nigeria and across West Africa. #InvestInKano | @Kyusufabba

STATE POLICE? DON’T TRY IT PLEASE! I must confess that I do not support the idea of state police. Our democratic culture and institutions are still too fragile to sustain such a system without abuse. Anyone familiar with the history of the brutality of the Native Authority (NA) police would naturally be wary of such a proposal. During the First Republic, the NA police became notorious for suppressing political opposition. Rather than serving the public, they often took orders from emirs and traditional chiefs, who used them to silence dissent and maintain political control. The memory of that abuse should caution us against repeating the same mistake under a different name. I think many of the proponents of this provincial policing appear not to have sufficiently reflected on the likely consequences. Even under the present arrangement, where the command structure of the police is centralized, the force is still frequently used to harass and intimidate citizens. Politicians often use the police to settle political scores, crush dissent or silence critics. If such abuses occur under a centralized command of Inspector-General of Police, one can only imagine the consequences of devolving police authority to governors. In many states, the political space is already heavily dominated by incumbent governors, who control party structures, influence local institutions, and command enormous financial resources. A clear warning sign already exists in the way many State Independent Electoral Commissions conduct local government elections. Despite being labeled “independent,” these bodies routinely deliver landslide victories to the ruling parties in their states. Allowing governors to control the police would put democracy in grave jeopardy.
