I just read that Pet Shop Boys' debut album turns 40 today, which is shortly after Black Celebration's 40th birthday, too. That's when it hit me: of course, so many important albums turn 40 this year (and in the coming years as 1986 is just the start of the music-rich late 80s)!

The rate at which I get sick is starting to frighten me. I'm also starting to think it's the universe telling me to wrap it up, that 26 years is already overstaying my welcome. And despite my great fear of dying, I sometimes agree; from defeat or exhaustion, I don't know anymore.

When I was at the hospital I randomly thought "what's my favorite PSB song" then "Love Comes Quicky" was first to come to mind. Then I opened Instagram only to see it was actually its 40th birthday that day. 🤯
