Mum is day 1 post repair of her fractured hip/femur .
I spent 8 hours with her today… she is quite confused and has lost all of the ground she gained in the past 4 weeks after settling in residential care 😔
She is doing ok physically though so I guess that is a blessing. 🥰

Hole punch clouds form when an aircraft passes through high cloud made up of water droplets that are below 0°C but not frozen. When the droplets are disrupted they freeze then form into raindrops & fall from the cloud layer, leaving a hole behind. 🤓

Ah the way it feels to make a charcoal mark on paper - it’s almost addictive. For me charcoal has the perfect combination of qualities - primal and subtle, direct yet mutable. Whether it’s in the form of a nice clean pencil or a big burnt stick, I love making drawings with it 🖤
