Tonight, I joined voters in 50 locations across North Carolina to talk about the importance of this year’s judicial races and why every vote matters. Thank you to our outstanding judicial candidates, volunteers, and everyone who joined us virtually.

Last night was an incredible show of support for the NC Senate Democratic Caucus. As we pass day 300 without a state budget, teachers and state workers are still on 2023 pay facing 2026 costs. Voices like @PeteButtigieg lifting up NC matter more than ever.

North Carolina deserves a budget and we have a plan on the table. With just 6 Senate Republicans joining Senate Democrats, we can negotiate and pass a budget that moves our state forward. It’s time. Make your voice heard and urge Republican legislators to act in this new session.

This week, I participated in a Women in Politics panel as part of Senator Jeanne Lucas’ commemorative week. Thank you to the students of NC Central for leading a great conversation!

I visited the Carolina Panthers stadium and met with leadership to discuss their vision for the future. From major renovations to an impressive lineup of sporting events and concerts, they’re working to transform the stadium into a premier entertainment destination for the city!

Like so many North Carolinians, I was heartbroken to learn of the passing of Governor Jim Hunt, one of the greatest public servants to ever serve the state of North Carolina. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Hunt family during this difficult time.
