Tonight I was the guest of @friendsofaine at their 9th annual gala. As a unifying feeling, we have all been impacted by grief; Loss of a parent, a brother or sister, a friend or any loved one are with us Each day I'm reminded of my grandparents, my parents, my brothers and sisters and I feel the loss a new. A casual comment, a gesture or a conversation reminds me of them, and with each new remembrance the grief renews, the loss comes to the fore-front, the feeling of mortality is renewed. We all feel that Organizations like Friends of Aine help those left behind cope with loss. They are a great organization for our children..
