I'm quite fond of shenanigans, but those around me often end up flabbergasted at my tomfoolery. Before they raise a kerfuffle I'll usually bamboozle them with malarkey, which discombobulates them into skedaddling. Some lollygaggers will still make a brouhaha, but I'll I'll just tell them to stop being a flibbertigibbet. I'm proud of myself that only two of the list I could not remember the meaning of. I'm no nincompoop - although honestly, cattywampus being fairly US specific makes it sit askew of the global english vocabulary.
