In 2009 A couple in Florida had paid cash in full on a foreclosed home in Naples. The bank makes an error and tries to foreclose on them thinking it was the previous owner. They hired a lawyer and had the foreclosure dismissed in two months. The bank was ordered to pay the Legal fees the couple had incurred. After months of not hearing back from the bank, they took further court action and was granted a writ of execution. They showed up to a branch of BOA with a moving truck, and sheriff’s deputies as they were allowed to start loading up the BANK’s assets. The manager wasn’t happy about this and finally wrote them a check for the money that they were owed. Score one for the little guy !!!
