Very disappointed to see the 2026-27 Budget allocated only Rs 1,091 crore to pollution control - down from Rs 1,300 crore last year. Ignoring public health emergency will only worsening the air pollution crisis.

Just wondering out loud: Is it possible for Indian Citizens as a collective to absolutely destroy a shitty airline that has been taking them for granted? Maybe it'll get replaced by something better.

A pilot commented on my post that apparently Indigo had reduced salaries of all pilots saying work hours will be less due to guidelines implementation. And now they are going back to older workhours at the same reduced salaries. Man, this company is all kinds of evil.

Looks like @EconomicTimes team didn’t have anything useful to cover so they picked up my tweet, exaggerated it for no reason and posted it with such a big picture of mine. Also used my employer’s name just to get views. They neither knew my salary nor the flat’s rent but just assumed I am paying half of my salary as rent. Now my friends are reaching out to me to confirm this nonsense, people in office will do the same🥲 Come on guys, you can do better than this🤡

This is for Freedom of Speech, to illuminate the blind spots in our collective knowledge. Most importantly this is for all those Indians who are “never supposed to speak” and suffer in silence.

I don't believe in angels & fairies - but I encountered them myself in Norway. Still shaking my head in disbelief (and relief that angels do exist) At the fag end our @norway drive through - my wife Nidhi & I were hiking to Preikestolen (the world famous #PulpitRock) close to the city of #Stavanger. It's a must do if you are in Norway - though it's not the easiest of hikes, especially if it has rained so much, making the terrain slippery. We took the chance, reached Pulpit Rock and enjoyed some amazing fjord views - on our way back however Nidhi's leg slipped and she seriously sprained / fractured her ankle. About 4 kilometres from civilisation, biting cold winds, rain fast approaching and unable to move - I was at my wits end on what to do next. However fellow hikers asked me to call 113 - assuring me that help will reach us. Really? With no other option - I called the emergency number with a lot of skepticism, but what happened next...showed me Norway's finest. Within minutes the responders had used my phone to pin my location and assured me help was on the way. In less than an hour - an ARMY of mountain rescuers - accompanied by doctors were with us. They examined Nidhi - put her leg in a vacuum bag - opened up a portable stretcher - and 6 super-humans carted Nidhi all the way to the base camp. All with a smile. Wait it gets better. While Nidhi & I were worried if we could even afford this rescue - we came to know that these angels were from the Norwegian People’s Aid @norskfolkehjelp - an NGO that offers Rescue Service and First Aid to those in need - for free. Wait it gets even better. These rescuers were not part of any paid / professional team that was at the park / trail - they were normal working Norwegians who just land up to help when the need arises. One of the rescuers was a surveyor / another who has been doing this for 15 years - works in the petroleum industry! For a nation that spends so much time in rain / darkness - I came to understand why Norway is one of the happiest nations on the planet. I am at a loss of words - but I am deeply thankful & in awe of Norwegians & Norwegian People’s Aid. Also, to those who are arguing that this is necessary for quality control: we are living in a world where the Singapore courts have twice set aside arbitral awards authored by ex-Supreme Court judges for plagiarism. Our problems with quality run far deeper than a practice rule.

This is the exact moment in 2019 when India's international diplomacy was royally screwed. Narendra Modi shamelessly broke India's decades old policy of not interfering in internal elections of other countries by openly campaigning for Presidential candidate Donald J Trump. Trump lost this election and India kept losing its MoJo with the United States. The Biden administration was naturally upset with this and showed no love for India. After Trump's return, he has been even more hostile towards Indians, from calling out on Tariffs , to not taking a stand for India, approving IMF loans to Pakistan to trade deals with Türkiye. Modi needs to apologize to the nation for this shameful act, he lowered India's dignity and got hostility in return.
