put out a new a brand spankin new version of my pc remaster mod of bloodborne. restores all the original reflectance maps (i modified all of them ages ago, and it's a whole thing, don't worry about it), reduced the SSAO for each map (I had it set too high), + bug fixes!

@Rechardart @CrimsonDesert_ absolutely agree with you, tiling looks really bad if you don't have any extra blends to diversify it a bit. it's actually something i ding sekiro for despite how much i do love how it looks overall, it uses tiles textures soooo much

hey @CrimsonDesert_ can y'all add a graphics menu toggle for chromatic abberation, ssao strength, sharpening, depth of field, filmgrain, etc, would be nice to have for personal preference. thanks!

@1957e2 honestly i just want any type of storytelling beyond what's here. just absolutely nothing conversations with everyone so far. somehow there's always a next waypoint, even if there's no reason my character even got that waypoint. and world is beautiful but mile wide, inch deep

after a few hours in crimson desert, 2 things are very clear to me. the control scheme is trying to murder me and the fast forward dialog option is essential because the dialog so far sounds like someone trying to hit a certain word count for their essay right before class

@SapsB_ i honestly don't like framegen even in ideal situations and you really shouldn't use it with a base framerate below 60, but the game already feels laggy anyway, so framegen hasn't made much difference to me really. overall net benefit in this super niche case

@SapsB_ honestly not great on my 4060 ti 16gb. it runs well if you don't use ray reconstruction, but also looks way, way worse. so I basically use it and then lose 30-50% of my performance and just deal with it. dlss perf 1440p + framegen just to float around 60 with dips lower

also every single conversation i've had in crimson desert has the npc over-emoting to an insane degree vs kliff being the most bland character ever. his writing isn't bad, it just doesn't exist.
