@TheSnazzzyRock These all sound like small enough balances to make utility still very relevant and worth carrying, but like you mentioned I would hate to only see the equivalent of barricade kit/trig nade spam 😭

Honestly to give my own take on the grenade spam meta Ive talked with one of my homies and feel we landed in a decent spot for some changes to util spam. Cryo shouldnt devolve into release stella from arc raiders to give an example. Utility spam meta does not make for good gameplay -Make bubble shields health lower they are too tanky -Remove the chem nade puddle it leaves or make it 3 seconds -Frags need a longer fuse timer maybe like 4-5 seconds. -Heat nades are probably fine? maybe decrease the damage -Claymores radius can be acceptable if they do less damage to shields. Keep flesh dmg the same but dont take away 99% of my health for tapping a claymore. Let them be a bit more informational -Flechette nades just make them do a bit less damage

@Ziegler_Dev Major respect to how y'all are handling changes/comms with the community. It is genuinely so refreshing to have this level of transparency and conversation. We appreciate all that you do!

We have a lot of convos around the game going right now, but one thing we've aligned on and will be doing for the next Cryo window is making Subroutines a 100% drop from each vault. Thanks for the feedback we'll keep hammering on more updates.

How to make Recon relevant in Marathon. Replace her tick pod with a Trophy System. Gives her unique defensive utility & helps solve the grenade spam META at the same time 🤝

@CrimsonDesert_ Generative AI does not "create." It steals. Real artists could've easily made early stage 2D visual prop mock-ups in ample time.

We would like to address questions regarding the use of AI in Crimson Desert. During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. These assets helped us rapidly explore tone and atmosphere in the earlier phases of production. However, our intention has always been for any such assets to be replaced, following final work and review by our art and development teams, with work that aligned with our quality standards and creative direction. Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it. We also acknowledge that we should have clearly disclosed our use of AI. While these tools were primarily used during early production, with the expectation that these assets would be replaced prior to release, we recognize that this does not excuse the lack of transparency. We sincerely apologize for these oversights. We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of all in-game assets and are taking steps to replace any affected content. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches. In parallel, we are reviewing and strengthening our internal processes to ensure greater transparency and consistency in how we communicate with players moving forward.

@jfwong The game is in a really unfortunate spot atm. Bungie has always nailed things like Raids, Dungeons, gunplay/movement, but for most of D2’s history they’ve struggled with the live-service aspect of the game. Side note- y’all’s Commander videos give me life 🙏
