Check out my old fedora I had this thing from like 1998 on .i have asked that when im dead i not be burned but put in the ground and im to be wearing this hat .but it’s probably the coolest hat on planet earth.i see theres hat makers for the rich and famous that TRY and give them hats that look like they have been worn .anyways the stories this hat could tell 😂

Frytech MBS uses patented staggered neodymium magnet repulsion + minimal tuned spring for progressive, multi-stage damping. Unlike linear coil springs that compress uniformly and create twang/inconsistent impulse, magnets self-regulate resistance by bolt velocity/caliber. Independent tests (Mantis X data + user reports) show measurable drops in felt recoil/muzzle rise. It’s quieter, lower-maintenance (minimal wear, no lube), consistent across suppressed/unsuppressed setups, and drop-in compatible. Superior for flatter, softer shooting with less tuning/fatigue.

MBS Frytech Tech refers to Frytech LLC’s patented Magnetic Buffer System (MBS), a recoil management upgrade for AR-15/AR-10 platforms (and variants like AR-9s or shotguns). It replaces or augments traditional coil springs and weights with a stack of repelling neodymium (rare-earth) magnets in a sealed buffer tube. frytechlabs.com Why It’s Considered Superior to Traditional Buffers Traditional AR buffers rely on metal coil springs, which compress, expand, and bang around—causing wear, noise (“twang”), inconsistent cycling (especially suppressed or with different calibers), and the need for tweaks like heavier buffers, adjustable gas blocks, or muzzle brakes. @frytechllc Frytech’s MBS (often hybrid with a minimal spring in some versions) uses magnetic repulsion for progressive damping. Here’s what sets it apart: • Smoother, Progressive Recoil Absorption — Magnets provide staged resistance that self-regulates based on bolt carrier velocity and caliber (e.g., 5.56, .300 BLK, .308, even 12-gauge ARs). This reduces felt recoil, muzzle rise, and shooter fatigue while enabling faster follow-up shots and flatter shooting. thetruthaboutguns.com • No Springs = Less Wear & Maintenance — Springless (or minimal-spring) design means zero metal-on-metal impact, no lubrication needed, no spring twang/failure, and no internal wear. It’s sealed and stays clean even after tens of thousands of rounds. Ideal for suppressed builds or high-reliability setups. frytechlabs.com • Quieter & More Consistent Cycling — Eliminates the annoying spring noise. Users report reliable 3-4 o’clock brass ejection across setups (short barrels to long, suppressed/unsuppressed) without constant tuning. @frytechllc • Versatility & Drop-In Compatibility — Works in standard mil-spec or commercial buffer tubes. Tunable via magnet configuration/strength. Handles over-gassed or suppressed systems well, often letting you run a flash hider instead of a brake/comp. Versions exist for AR-15 (carbine) and AR-10 (rifle-length with more magnets for heavier BCGs). pmtactical.com • Durability & Reliability — Precision CNC-milled 7075-T6 aluminum tubes. Patented tech that’s been tested extensively. Reviewers and users (including on podcasts) note it makes rifles feel more like premium customs with less hassle.

@ThoughtsChops Fair, i haven't looked much into tpu myself. I believe @Frytechllc just jumped into it with a slicer material tab preset kind of deal and it looked like it came out pretty good

Hey, 3D printing fam. Never printed with TPU before and forgot I ordered this months ago. Is this jumping in the deep end? Any tips not to throw cash out the window trying to print with this?

I'm curious are there companies that make and sell uppers that are carbon fiber nylons or other cf material. Would people buy something like that (asking for a friend lol)

@1312V3 My 2 original brujerias are cf nylon and they are in perfect condition still but so I no the material is strong but so I’m just feeling things out basically once my design test 100percent I’m going to want to get these into peoples hands

Basically if this passes my test and works I would then want to sell like 20 or so to some of you all and I’m wondering if I’m going to need to get them made out of aluminum or if it’s something I can do in cf nylon. Either way i think the best way to get some attention of companies is to get some people doing videos of these .if my work proves correct this will 100 percent eliminate bolt bounce (and also be the softest shooting PCC around)

@Frytechllc I haven't printed a full upper yet but barrel attachments between that and the pla. I use pa6cf20. Gotta keep it dry af though or it prints as bad as a wet fart in the heat.

@waxdeity Sorry but i think the haters would already be trying to push that narrative if there was anything they could say was fed behavior but im not sure what an upper being made of carbon fiber nylon vs aluminum has to do with Feds 😂
