For two decades Stephen Spencer has been Publication Chair to the @ETRA_conference. Last Friday it was my privilege to meet him for coffee *and* to present to him the 2022 ETRA Eye on the World Award. Thank you Stephen -- for your gifts, for your giving, and for watching over us!

It was a privilege to serve with @EnkelejdaKasne1 as General Chairs for #ETRA2022 at @seattlechildren's. The presentations were fantastic, the science, phenomenal. But most of all, the passion and love for our work, and each other, was evident every breath. See you in #ETRA2023!

Congratulations to @yeojin_amy_ahn who today brilliantly defended her PhD thesis "Objective Measurement of Early Facial Expressions" -- investigations into computer vision applied to early development, dev. psych methods, and autism. Fantastic work -- Dr. Ahn!

Also just published: Patterns of intervention utilization among school-aged children on the autism spectrum: Findings from a multi-site research consortium. RASD. Wonderful consideration of the nuances of intervention use in a multi-site cohort by Sridhar and colleagues!

@SueReviews Great question sue. If it's task-based can it be a biomarker?

A personal bugbear of mine: eye tracking measures presented as a bio marker. Nope. This is a behavioural marker, at best. But still not even that! Group mean differences are not markers! #INSAR2018
