@ImNotThatGloomy And there are many instances of stuff like that, so you never really know for sure if they didn't combine 2 roles (though here it's also entirely possible there are just many 2nd KAs because the original artists couldn't clean their work and even strong animators came to help)

@ImNotThatGloomy an additional credit for that, afaik However, there are always some cases with roles that can be lumped in with another credit according to the production or the studio Toei for example sometimes combines KA, 2nd KA and assistant AD Pierrot usually puts TP Check as Coloring

I'm not that knowledgeable so I would like to ask, if a finished cut gets reworked completely by a director or any sort of main staff do they get the 2nd KA credit for it? If so, then doesn't that mean that 2nd KA can exist as an artistic decision like ADs can?

Can someone remind me why tf ryosuke tanaka left cause I don’t remember a solid reason about it? Bro was an original one piece director that grew here, one of the VERY promising and then after 3 full ED/SB eps he is out randomly. And he has no projects since then

@Mugiwara_ya48 So it's not entirely impossible that he returns now, though it's also possible that he wants to explore new horizons

@Mugiwara_ya48 It involves personal matters so I can't go into details without his permission but he left Tokyo for reasons unrelated to his work, and his next works at studio maf after (GANGLION, Mashle) that were all done remotely. It's not that he actually wanted to leave the project
