#Timelapse video of the final #autonomous long distance run of #SherpaTT using the ERGO software. The #rover managed to reach all predefined waypoints and covered 1388m within approximately 8.5h.

Nothing left in the desert of Morocco but some mysterious trails in the sand. Now it's time for analysing the tons of data that we gathered during the trials. TBC...

Because of the excellent performance of #SherpaTT during the field trials the @DFKI team shows happy faces.

After two weeks in the desert it's time for packing. #SherpaTT get's into it's box and hopefully the transporter doesn't brake until it reaches our container.

#SherpaTT changes it's footprint in order to drive to a narrow passage.

The field team from DLR-RM (@DLR_de) with their Handheld Central Rover Unit (HCRU). A perception unit, to validate vision or lidar based algorithms with minimal logistical effort. One unit is mounted on #SherpaTT and another could be carried with a backpack construction.
