From a scientific perspective we will say that Morocco’s moonsighting was possible but very challenging - but when you outsource your moon to another country’s government, how do you expect to be able to check and scrutinise that decision from here in the UK? We should add though Morocco has a strong reputation in moonsighting. Nevertheless we cannot expect a foreign government to comply with our demands of scrutiny.
