It's official: the federal government is cutting Nevada's Colorado River water allocation by 28%, the biggest cut in state history. California's cut is just 12%. Las Vegas recycles 99% of the water it uses indoors. California recycles 22% of its wastewater.

@TFG_2025 In theory, truly organic produce should be grown with no pesticides and little to no fertilizers. So, again, in theory truly organic produce will have far lower yields, therefore a higher price. In the real world they slap an "organic" label on standard products.

Serious question, why does organic food cost more? They are using less chemicals etc...wouldn't it be cheaper to produce? Is it really just a huge scam?

The thing that pisses me off about Fauci is that over a dozen scientists told him that the virus was very likely man-made, only two said it might have come from nature. He lied about the scientists consensus and said they concluded it was natural. That makes scientists look bad.

@MattWalshBlog Youth sports TODAY are out of control. Let kids be kids and let parents have a friggin break.💯🇺🇸🇺🇸. Not everyone is the next Michael Jordan, or messi, or Gretzky... Nor will 99% of kids ever sniff professional sports. It's a losing endeavor.

Youth sports went completely insane at some point over the past several years. Parents spending thousands of dollars, devoting multiple days a week, traveling all around, all so their kid can obsessively play a particular sport and then graduate high school and never play it again. I actually think the “everybody’s a winner, the score doesn't matter” approach was preferable to this. Bring back the participation trophies if this is the alternative.

@bigbrownson Page was ok (although not the stature needed for a warrior, her best scenes were as the dead soldier).. Zendaya was a fine pick to represent Athena (as a young girl that is killed at Troy). The casting was largely ok. Helen of Troy was the worst casting decision IMHO.

I’m genuinely confused by the backlash. Elliot Page wasn’t playing Achilles, and Zendaya wasn’t literally Athena, so what exactly was all the fuss about? #theodyssey

@JackPosobiec Thought it was pretty decent. Not his best work. The casting choices worked mainly with a couple of notable exceptions (ahem..... Helen of Troy the most aggregious). Would give it an 8 out of 10. Solid B+.

Nolan’s Odyssey was also kind of…boring and dull
