🐰Easter reset yesterday, and it feels like the perfect moment to kick off Q2 fully charged. Our engineers are heads-down ironing out our best features. Sales team is hungrier than ever. And the best part? We’ve got a wave of incredible people joining us through spring and into summer. When the whole business lines up like this, it feels electric. Excited to see what we ship this quarter. 📈📷

It’s hard to believe it’s already been 100 days since I received my Neuralink N1 implant. Looking back, the whole journey feels like science fiction that somehow became my everyday reality. The surgery on Day 0 was surprisingly easy. A quick general anaesthetic, a small incision, and the robotic system did the rest — precisely placing the 1,024 ultra-thin threads into my motor cortex. I woke up alert and in good spirits and went home the next afternoon. By Day 3 I was feeling a lot better, and by Day 7 the little scar was already starting to fade. Recovery was genuinely minimal; I felt sharper and more positive than I had been in years after the BCI was turned on. The real fun started in Week 2 when we paired the implant with my brand-new Apple MacBook (my very first Mac). The @neuralink engineers walked me through calibration sessions, and within a couple of minutes I was moving the cursor just by thinking. At first it felt like trying to remember a dream, but by Week 3 it was second nature. Scrolling, clicking, typing — all mind-controlled. The Mac integration was buttery smooth; I went from total Mac newbie to power-user faster than I ever expected. By Day 80 I was ready for the big leagues. That’s when I fired up @Warcraft of Warcraft for the first time with pure thought control. The first raid felt clunky, but once my brain and the BCI synced, it was pure magic. I’m now raiding, and exploring Azeroth hands-free at full speed — no mouse, no keyboard, just intention. It’s honestly brilliant. The freedom is addictive. The social-media side has been just as surprising. Every update I’ve shared has been met with genuine excitement rather than scepticism. Thousands of messages from people with disabilities, gamers, students, and scientists — all asking real questions about the tech and what it could mean for the future. The positivity has been overwhelming and incredibly motivating. 100 days in and I already can’t imagine life without it. The N1 didn’t just give me a new way to use a computer — it gave me a new way to live. Can’t wait to see what the next 100 days bring. Thank you all so much for your support and I will keep you all updated as we continue this journey together.

@lukepierceops Based on a few conversations, a lot of PE portfolio companies are getting increasing pressure to incorporate AI in their workflows while keeping costs down.

Anthropic and OpenAI are both building PE-backed consulting arms to deploy AI inside companies. Let that sink in for a second. The two companies building the most powerful AI on earth looked at the market and said "businesses can't figure out how to use this. We need to go in and do it for them." They are literally telling you where the gap is. Companies have access to the best AI models ever built. And most of them are still running on spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and manual processes because nobody showed them how to actually implement it. That's the whole game right now. Not building better models (obviously) or shipping new features. IMPLEMENTATION. Getting AI inside real workflows. Mapping the processes, building the systems, and making it stick. I've been doing exactly this for 4 years and have worked with 80+ companies at this point. It started with automation and naturally flowed into Ai. And every single engagement starts the same way. Not with AI or automation but with a process map. Because AI alone won't fix broken operations. Companies now understand that. They have not yet seen true ROI from Ai. You have to understand how the business actually runs before you touch a single tool. Where does the data live? Where are the bottlenecks? What's manual that shouldn't be? What breaks when volume goes up? That's the work, and that's what Anthropic and OpenAI just told the entire market is worth billions. Every company is going AI-first over the next 3-5 years. The demand for people who can actually make that happen is about to be unlike anything we've seen. The labs told you where the gaps are. Now go fill them.

@sweatystartup The productivity unlock is just undeniable, AI is not a zero sum game, it actually grows the pie. The questions is; are you building your own moat or just shipping features?

Investing heavily in AI at your company will backfire. You are becoming dependent on something that is unsustainable. The VC money will dry up once they realize nobody is going to make any money in the long run except NVDA and the power companies. The subsidies will stop. And your costs will 5x. There is no moat in AI. Switching from GPT to gemini to grok to claude takes seconds and you don't miss a beat. Its a house of cards.

Big fan of Torsten Slok's Daily Spark newsletter from Apollo. Always reveals the most interesting patterns. Over a month in at an AI-native company and this one nails it: top 10 in S&P 500 now ~39-40% of the index. Most AI giants (Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceX) are not even public yet. Diversification? What's that? 😅

Just wrapped a pretty intense hiring sprint at @trynationgraph. Went from "we need a few key roles" to closing 4–5 offers in a couple weeks. Here's what actually moved the needle (and what didn't). 1. Candidate sourcing: Founders + early team intros beat cold LinkedIn DMs 10x. We leaned hard on networks and got better fits faster. 2. Process: Kept it to 4 stages (screen → verbal technical → case exercise → final round). 3. Speed: Time to offer ~2w. Ghosting kills momentum on both sides.
