We applaud our sister union @FTUSGuild for staging this action to secure competitive, common sense wage increases across the US newsroom.
Just 1% of the £30mn investment in the company’s new venture capital arm would be enough to facilitate these increases!

This morning, we sent an email to management and FT Ventures, the FT’s new £30mn venture capital arm set up to invest in “high-growth media and tech companies.” We asked them to invest just 1% of that in the US newsroom, where revenues have increased by more than 40% since 2019
