@avabluephoenix conveniently forgot to warn him about her, it all reads as lack of communication between council slayer and watcher but then again it’s stated multiple times that the council doesn’t care for the slayers so I also don’t see them going above and beyond to warn multiple watchers

@avabluephoenix kendra trained from childhood because her family knew that she was a potential slayer and her people took that kind of thing very seriously so she was basically raised by her watcher. faith had a watcher prior to giles but she (faith’s watcher) was killed by the vampire kakistos

@fufftillow A couple of things I don't get: Buffy wasn't training (like Kendra), she just was told she was the slayer. If Faith DID have a watcher, how in the world would Giles not know? And why did Kendra train from childhood?
