Really nothing new to say at this point. Mets' offense has reached the late '70s-early '80s stage of futility. Just unwatchable, especially on a day Soto is out. The Ewing-Benge energy bump was fun but it fizzled quickly. And the schedule is finally about to get a lot tougher.

There are about 12 guys on this team who should be the only ones remaining next season: Carson Benge A.J. Ewing Francisco Lindor Juan Soto Nolan McLean Christian Scott Jonah Tong Tobias Myers Devin Williams Huascar Brazoban Brooks Raley Luke Weaver (Bo Bichette too. He’s likely going to opt in and be back next year.) Nonetheless, I didn’t include him here because he’s been very disappointing, to say the least). Brett Baty and Mark Vientos have just been too inconsistent to really be trusted at this point. I truly do think this could be the last year for both of them.
