For years we’ve worked alongside @RichWallaceEAT of @EatOrgChicago to advance guaranteed income and racial justice. In his new @OpenDemocracy feature, he lays out a powerful case in Beyond Trafficking and Slavery series. His latest piece connects the dots from slavery to mass incarceration and calls for guaranteed income as reparations. 🧵

The results were transformative. Days without stable housing dropped 85 percent. The ability to cover household bills rose from 8 to 45 percent. Access to healthcare more than doubled.
