I think the Occam's Razor explanation here is that people from any part of the world who are unable or unwilling to travel/meet people from other places will be ill-informed about what's goin on over there. We are all capable of & guilty of this. Just don't be a jackass about it.

The U.S. not discounting perishable foods an hour before closing time is solely because of greed and cruelty. In America, they will rather throw away millions of pounds of food instead of coming up with a solution that benefits all but nope they’ll even arrest dumpster divers.

@LennyUSMC @_6signxxx I regularly eat the "manager's special" (day old) sushi from my supermarket and I've literally never in my life had a digestive issue and am fairly certain I'm indestructible. Anecdotal evidence but take from that what you will.
