Prayers are utterly useless and completely powerless. They solve nothing and heal nothing, when people pray, they are simply talking, murmuring, or humming to themselves while believing that some imaginary being in the sky is listening, that mindset is nothing more than a figment of human imagination. You can pray from now until eternity, yet reality will still take its natural course regardless.
