A bizarre misrepresentation of events. He took up share issues to secure a dominant position. He thought England was on the table. Hasn’t risked a coin of his own money without security, or somehow gifted us players. He is not a selfless benefactor investing altruistically. Has taken 7.5m in dividends. He didn’t save the club. He did what Desmond does and invested in what he believed was an undervalued asset. Haughey seems intent on undermining his scheme. Clearly positioning himself for something or just trying to appear non threatening so DD doesn’t go after his business interests.
