Countdown to GameGPT NFT It’s time to breakdown a few more details about our upcoming NFT collection. Each of these threads will go deeper on a few key aspects of the mint or the collection. Keep reading to see why you’ll want a WL for this. Earlier this week we talked about the Mythic rarity and attributes coming with the Genesis NFT. Now let’s dive into a new Trait Evolutions, xDUEL, and mint details 👇 Mint details: So what are the details going into the mint, below is everything you’’ll need to know to be ready to snag you Avatar. Date: End of March Mint Type: Auction Who can mint: Whitelisted User & Stakers Where to Mint: We are building our own Mint page, with a few other possible launch pads in the works. xDUEL: For those of you dedicating your $DUEL for staking, we're excited to announce that your locked staking rewards will be usable to mint a Genesis NFT. Introducing xDUEL, a non-transferable token that represents the DUEL staking rewards you've accrued, but are currently inaccessible. xDUEL is a redeemable ticket that allows you to exchange staked rewards for NFTs. We've reserved 20% of our NFT collection to be acquired using xDUEL credits. When you use xDUEL to make a purchase, it will correspondingly decrease the amount of DUEL rewards you can claim on a one-to-one basis once your stake is available. Should your staking rewards fall short of the minting fee, there's no cause for concern. You have the option to cover the remaining balance with ETH, measured in USD value. Attribute Mutations: For a price of ~$100 in DUEL, an NFT holder can randomly mutate their skill attributes Random mutations may decrease some skill attributes, but values never go negative, this risk is much lower when mutations are applied to low skill NFTs. This provides an opportunity to purchase low value NFTs on the open market and mutate them into stronger, more valuable assets. At the same time, the random mutation makes it unlikely that players can just purchase overpowered NFTs with xDUEL, because of the possible negative mutations. Conclusion: The Genesis NFT collection will have a ton of features that will make it something truly unique for our community.
