@Aspen1921 Different levels of chapters basically. For example a city/region of state and then state wide structure above it so that the cities can do things at the state level easier and such. And then maybe a structure beyond that for organizing at larger scales as well.

what basis should party chapters be based on in the United States?

One of the things R&R proposed for DSA convention had the idea of running at least 4 candidates for congress, and a ton of people criticized this as unrealistic but I’m now pretty confident we’re gonna beat that target comfortably. We always underestimate how ambitious we can be!
