@Chassis_S197 @NIKKE_en This is such a dumb comparison. Red Hood was dead from the beginning and built up as a phantom that somehow returned. Marian died in the first 20 minutes of the game to and came back as Modernia. Pinne was purpose built to die in Overzone, like Nora was in Terminus Ticket.

@NIKKE_en People in here crying about deaths in a war is insane. Go read a comic book. Red Hood is dead, no one cried and said they'd stop playing. Marian died very early on, b4 you knew she'd be back if you were a day 1 player. Pinne died in Overzone, welcome to war. Cry more.

Time for a short Senki Zesshō Symphogear review! Where do I even begin? When I started watching it, I had no clue how much I'd end up loving it. At first, it didn't click with me, I wasn't enjoying it as much as I did later on. But you see, they were cooking something special, something fresh and new. It might not suit your taste buds right away, but they kept at it, refining the recipe until it became this delicious dish. I savored every bite and kept wishing for more because it tasted that good. You get what I'm saying, right????!!!! The story started off weak, and the characters felt pretty generic. Still, I wanted to give it a full shot, people had recommended it while I was watching Macross, and when I start something, I make sure to finish it. Or at least I try. So I put my faith in the show and those who hyped it up for me. Boy, was I caught by surprise as the story unfolded. The characters got proper buildup, and suddenly they started to shine. You learn about them, connect with them, because the show really puts in the effort to make you understand who they are and how they pour their hearts out through their songs. You don't even need to overthink it. Just listen to the songs, and you'll feel what these girls are trying to say, why they fight, for what exactly they fight for... Every lyric captures their happiness, love, hate, and sorrow. Symphogear has all kinds of songs ones that pull you into its world and make you feel like you're part of it. The plot in each season might seem simple, honestly, it's nothing groundbreaking. But it's one of the most exciting, fun stories I've come across. It felt so human, so down to earth. It doesn't try to be overly special, it just wants to be that cozy story you return to when you're feeling alone. Like a home you can always come back to. It's got everything you could love, all wrapped up in one package. I think the writers aimed to create something everyone could enjoy, a place where anyone feels welcome. A story doesn't need to be extraordinary to matter, it just needs to be something you can connect with. And man, I connected hard with Symphogear. Maybe it's because I adore Hibiki so much. She's such a dork, but she's an incredible character. Honestly, all the main girls are great, they get real development, and you can't help but root for them. Of course, there were moments I wish certain characters got better treatment. Tsubasa's arc in XV could've been handled with more care. To me, Symphogear always improves with each season, so I had high hopes... but that part fell a little flat. Still, it's just one flaw. There are so many amazing things about this show, I won't let one thing ruin it for me. Symphogear itself teaches you to see the good outweighing the bad. Overall, it was an incredible ride. I fucking loved it. It was totally my jam, and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. Jaw dropping twists, non stop excitement, and the production team just kept leveling up their art, animation, direction, and of course, the heart of it all, those epic, superb songs. Every season gets better. It's pure art in motion. If you haven't started Symphogear yet... What are you waiting for??!?!?!!!! Go watch it. Now!!!!!!!!!!

@lacertile @stonetoss This is pure soul. I'm old enough and that comic is old enough for it to be true.

I got into collecting knives very young. I still remember the Swiss army knife my dad got me, which he immediately took away after I sliced my parents bed to see how sharp it was. The most I've ever spent on a folding knife is 800, but this knife kept calling me. Finally ordered it. Absurd? Yes. But this Japanese knife companies knives have been sitting in the back of my mind for weeks. Also I feel like the worlds gonna collapse soon, so may as well enjoy it.
