Musetti finishes 9th but gets in anyway as Djokovic decides to end his season on a high with the trophy in Athens.
FAA goes in the #8 position while Musetti is used as an alternate for Djokovic.

Friday's Turin Update:
Medvedev eliminated after the heartbreaking loss to Zverev, while FAA and Bublik stayed alive.
FAA will surpass Musetti if he wins tomorrow and should he take the title he'd qualify without even needing next week's events.

Updated Turin Race after Thursday:
This has gotten much clearer now, Shelton and De Minaur both clinched their spots today while Davidovich Fokina was eliminated.
We are down to 4 players for 1 spot with 3 of the 4 still alive in Paris and playing QFs tomorrow.

Lehecka doing a good job of holding on in this set, has been under pressure in basically every service game, down 0-30 a few times, down break point there, but has found a way to hold and now leads 4-3.

So, they're making Zverev play 2 matches but not Shelton, which seems fair considering that Zverev is a good service game away from victory
Ben has talked about how much he likes the off days in these 1000s to work on his game but I think he'd rather not play 2 in one day

With Cancun/Sumter draws out, Valentin Royer's Top 100 debut is now confirmed (Emilio Nava still not 100%). Royer had that unreal push with 6 CH SFs in a row in February-April (incl. 2 titles), but was recently losing some steam and this Cincinnati run comes at the perfect moment

ATP 1000 CINCY R2: Karen Khachanov wins 6-4, 7⁸-6⁶ against Valentin Royer
Saved a set point on the Royer serve in that tiebreak, but Khachanov does get through. Both Toronto Finalists get the win and now don't have to play tomorrow either, that's where this format is easier
