Living a double life almost took me to a place I wouldn’t have had the energy to come back from because truth be told I’m tired of sparring with the person ppl want me to be. That bitch can fight!

I spent the bulk of my 20s hiding from the world, surrounded by ppl who siphoned my energy, shat on my dreams and interests. I never quit, and I grew increasingly ashamed. Ashamed of my goals, my body, and my essence.

The scariest part about love is risking your psychological safety to give someone the opportunity to see you, and love you deeply. Absolutely terrifying.
