All ima say is the year Usain Bolt ran 9.58 he opened up in the 100 with a 9.93! @enhanced_games might be on to something

RoriDunk@FitzDunk
Watch Fred Kerley run 9.93 to win the heat of the 100m at the Enhanced Games The athletes win aim to break the 100m world record of 9.58…

@user53612982135 @_WeDrunk @NdzalamaHeir @fkerley99 Interesting take as he’s barely opened up his outdoor season and he literally just became a global champion and it’s only been a year. I would’ve used anybody else lol
English

@_WeDrunk @fwjett @NdzalamaHeir @fkerley99 Jordan Anthony ran 9.75 windy 2.1 what has he done remotely close to that in the 100 since then?

@ethantgibson SJSUs is and during the day it’s overun with homeless people watching porn on the public computers so personally against it
English

@floziq @__fayvourite @glblathletichub Professional? For high schoolers? I mean ig lol. I don’t think there’s anything unprofessional about switching for more favorable winds
English

@fwjett @__fayvourite @glblathletichub Idk keep it professional? Take pride running under any conditions. That's part of being an athlete
English

@__fayvourite @glblathletichub I mean the og post is correct but why wouldn’t you flip it to run with a massive tailwind instead of running into a headwind?
English

@glblathletichub Like I didn’t watch a Texas high school meet yesterday where they had to run the opposite direction to get a favorable wind. Jokers

Exactly. Track & Field Gazette seems more focused on flag representation than actual performance. Akani Simbine of South Africa is the only athlete to beat Kishane Thompson in 2025 isn’t even mentioned. Meanwhile, they’re listing names barely anyone’s heard of.
No mention of Tebogo, Lyles, or Simbine? That’s not a ranking, that’s regional favoritism disguised as journalism.
Christian Coleman? Seriously? At this point, everyone’s running past him like he’s a checkpoint. Not even sure he qualifies for finals anymore but somehow he makes your list? Gazette clearly values name recognition over actual results.
