However, the large majority of people are not accredited investors, and they greatly benefit from the tax savings and access to invest funds above and beyond their medical costs.

I am an UHNW banker and allocate my clients and my network to tons of private fund or direct deal opportunities where you’re looking at >20% net IRR deals

@Riley_Tolsma @MasonOnMargin The reason I ask is because as an investor - there are a number of taxable investments you can make until 65 where the returns of those investments are so superior to what you can get with your HSA, that it’s also very worthwhile to build up your taxable accounts too
