Ten Hag's in-game management has been increasingly poor this season, he has to carry some of the blame. I give it a month and if poor results continue, another rinse and repeat cycle will take shape. Dark and gloomy at Old Trafford.

I’m well aware of Onana being demonstrative at all his clubs, and I like the fact he communicates. But to carry on like that in a pre season game when you’ve been at the club 2mins, to the club captain, was way over the top. Any player worth their salt (Keane, Vidic, Rio, Stam…and me!) would have told him where to go & to get back in his goal. I felt he was trying far too hard to show the fans what he was about. The point was Maguire is that broken he didn’t say anything back. When he was well within his rights to do so. Besides that another good column Barney!

Erik ten Hag was appointed to restore standards at #MUFC. The team had lost its identity and, in parts, its discipline. The club had lost its way, partly because the owners' focus is solely on money. Team and club need a reboot. Whatever happens today against #BHAFC (well-run team, brilliantly-run club, proper owner), Ten Hag has to be allowed to continue this difficult but vital team rebuild.
He has some exceptional players, Rashford, Onana, Bruno etc. He has the promise of Hojlund, Garnacho etc. Ten Hag's a good manager who quickly identified the malaise, the selfishness of some, and the inability or unwillingess of others to fit his tactical plan. He's won a trophy, returned United to the Champions League, and still has some clearing out and strengthening to do. Some people don't like his honesty but he's simply delivering home truths. And United need that.
