Every day’s a school day. One of the regulars who comes in for a foodbank voucher was teaching Cockney rhyming slang yesterday. Apparently he thinks I’m a “pie and liquor.” For those not fluent in East End… pie and liquor = vicar. Which, to be fair, is pretty close.

We have been made aware of a distressing image doing the rounds today, suggesting Tottenham have beaten us 3-1. This has clearly been photoshopped, and we will be taking this up with the relevant authorities. Even we'd beat Spurs...

I love ministry days like this. There’s something really enjoyable about food preparation and cooking.
