Genuinely, I have no idea how IW and SHG can have phenomenal and near-perfect hit-detection with amazing gunplay... and Treyarch just... doesn't.
The only time where gunfights felt responsive in a Treyarch title, at least to me, was in the BO7 Beta once the open matchmaking dropped.
Anything since then, or before that, I've never had a positive experience with the gunplay of Black Ops games.
Constantly dying WAY around corners, my bullets not registering, combined with the hilariously fast movement and shockingly small and restrictive maps... It's a recipe for frustration.
