Lesson on excessive intention: I remember going to a party with my brother and some other dudes and something that stuck out to me was a guy whose hair was done nicely, was wearing expensive clothes, etc mf looked like an aesthetic pinterest pic anyway, he was there talking to a lot of chicks every girl at that party was approached by this model looking dude and I noticed that NOT ONE was showing ANY interest in this guy however... my brother who just got out of work, no shower was wearing a torn up Pearl Jam shirt caked in drywall mud, old shit kickers, and long dirty hair was literally flocked with chicks. none of my friends make less than 20k/m and as high as 600k/m as fucked up as it sounds it’s the same with cars, watches, houses and even women, you also have to level up your friends. don’t get me wrong i love my old friends, but if i wanted to grow income-wise.. i wouldn’t be able to if my circle stayed the same. everyone’s heard the saying “you are the 5 people you surround yourself most with” sounds cliche but it’s true. by no means should you completely sever ties with your old friends but without sacrificing your current relationships find the threshold to grow personally/professionally. once im hitting 100k/m and want to get to 500k/m it’ll be easier to get there if i’m constantly surrounded by people who are already there.
