70% of faculty at the University of Southern California voted to form a union for better wages and benefits. Instead of recognizing the union, USC is working overtime to deny their right to a union. That is beyond unacceptable. USC must drop its appeal & bargain in good faith.

Glad to see that the Daily Cal is back online with a new and improved website. However, the overhaul has killed tens of thousands of links that will render many old articles inaccessible. While @waybackmachine is a great resource, it's no substitute for deliberate archiving.
