@mullings_clive Which company or who does that? Unbelievable as so many Jamaicans have ATM cards, even those on construction sites. Poor gentleman, lost his life because of a lack of consideration. 🤦‍♀️

@patrioticjam @myJPSonline @darylvazmp I concur, the CEO of JPS gave his guarantee and he delivered. The Minister held the CEO accountable, supported when the JPS needed financial help and a guarantee to recover their investment. I say that’s partnership and leadership. Kudos gentlemen.

We really owe a huge debt of gratitude to the @myJPSonline team for the tremendous work done - 99.76% of customers restored within 6 months after the devastation of #HurricaneMelissa. That’s no small feat. 🇯🇲 Min. Daryl Vaz @darylvazmp, you are the man for this time 👏

Where is the MP for Meadowbrook and Havendale? The roads are in a deplorable state. Is it the norm that roads only get fixed and communities get attention when it’s election season.

The pain and grief of having to read about your colleague and friend’s passing on the news. It’s the hardest thing to do, even for the best and most seasoned professionals. @Paulaanneja I’m sorry you had to go through that this morning. Love you, mama. RIP, Daniel Thompson 🕊️

@FLOWJamaica , I have spent all of today trying to purchase a postpaid roaming plan, the app don’t work. Spent the last 20 mins waiting on a live agent. This is ridiculous. Why offer something that can’t be bought. 🤦‍♀️

@BiggestBarry @jaevionn These persons are our family, country men that have suffered unimaginable loss. In this their darkest times the least we can do is to preserve their dignity. Let’s only give what we would accept.

Banks moving you outside of banking halls and encouraging use of ABMs and now increasing fees for use of ABMs. Make it make sense....well I guess you reduce bodies to cut cost but impose higher fees where you have increased use. The irony.

@ClydeWilliams46 Your analysis was correct, the PNP was on the ground for almost 4 years, to maintain the momentum would be challenging if pushed longer. The JLP was strategic and as the saying goes, strategy trumps culture. PNP’s approach is within their DNA.

16 July 2025, my post. I remarked on TVJ that AH/JLP would push the PNP near to end of the Term as their calculation was the PNP was weakening, loosing steam as the race progressed. In another post mused on whether corruption & corruption perception could win a close election. 4 seats have made the difference in this election based on results to date. I take pride in the fact that notwithstanding my strong PNP antecedents I am able to bring dispassionate analysis to national political issues. That is not to say I don’t get it wrong at times, we all do. The JLP is, currently, a stronger political organization than the PNP; this has been so for some time now. These are not the 90s and early Y2K, where it was felt that the default choice of the People was PNP. Congratulations to Holness and the JLP in winning a hard fought election, with Holness emerging as a 3peat PM!
Clyde Williams@ClydeWilliams46

I am an independent political watcher and student. This version of the JLP is the best I have seen in my life. I am comparing JLP with JLP. They are organized & united. They deal with their internal issues expeditiously, with little or no fallout. There is obvious talent, perhaps lacking in the legal department, but there is talent, deep and wide. Better than under Golding. Better than under the late Edward Seaga. And for that reason they are in a position where they are seeking a 3Peat, a 3Sweep. I watch and wait. Last Gleaner/Don Anderson poll showed a statistical dead heat. Yes, PNP leading, but within the 3% margin of error or thereabouts.

Infrastructure and a better way of life for the majority. As acknowledged by 1PM the electorate is demanding more from representatives and with this level of maturity, there will be no safe seats.

The General Elections 2025 was we keenly contested and Jamaica won last night. I drove through Mountain View Ave shortly after the polls closed and was heartened by both labourites and comrades festively engaged, hugging at each other’s dance on the road.

@AliBJM This one is painful. Praying that final count and or magisterial recount will give her the edge. She is a worker of and for the people.
